Greetings! I’m Sharple Kansinally, a proud miner based in the picturesque Essequibo Coast, specifically at the Onderneeming Sand Pit in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of Guyana, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the unique blend of influences that shape our heritage. From the rhythmic sounds of local music to the tantalizing flavors of our cuisine—nothing beats a good serving of pepperpot or some fried plantains after a long day at work!
My roots run deep in our beautiful rivers and communities, from the serene River Grant to the lively Castle Lower Pom. Each location tells its own story and brings a piece of our past into the present.
