Hello! I’m Shawn Davson, a proud carpenter living along the beautiful Essequibo Coast in Hibernia, Pomeroon-Supenaam. I’ve spent my life in this vibrant community, where the lush greenery meets the flowing rivers, and the spirit of our people reflects the diverse tapestry of cultures that make Guyana unique. From the delicious pepperpot on Christmas morning to the lively sounds of our festivals, my roots here run deep.
As a carpenter, I take great pride in crafting pieces that not only serve a purpose but also tell a story. My work is inspired by the rich heritage of our land, and I often find myself reminiscing about the days spent by the Lower Pom River, learning the trade from the elders in our community.
