Food plays a central role in our culture, and I love preparing traditional dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice for family gatherings. Being part of the Guyanese community, whether in my homeland or overseas, is a treasure that I cherish. I often dream of returning to Guyana, perhaps one day settling back to enjoy the beauty of our rivers and forests.
