Nestled along the lush banks of the Pomeroon River, my life revolves around the bountiful waters that have sustained my family and community for generations. Living in Pomeroon, I am fortunate to witness the vibrant tapestry of Guyanese culture daily. From the bustling Bourda Market, where the aromas of spices and fresh produce fill the air, to the serene beauty of Massarie Island, every corner of my homeland tells a story. I cherish the friendships cultivated within the diaspora, who often reminisce about the warmth of our traditions and the joyous spirit of our festivals.
