Greetings! My name is Wayne Benn, a proud logger from the scenic Pomeroon region in Guyana. Nestled in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam, I’ve spent countless days working amidst the lush greenery and rich biodiversity that our land offers. Growing up here, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our natural resources and the importance of sustainable practices. When I'm not working, you can find me enjoying traditional dishes like cook-up rice and metemgee, often made with the freshest local ingredients, and sharing stories with fellow community members about life along the tranquil Pomeroon River.
As a Guyanese, I embrace our vibrant culture that beautifully reflects a blend of Indigenous, African, Indian, and Caribbean influences.
