Hello! I’m Williamson Trim, a dedicated forest ranger living in the lush landscapes of Essequibo, specifically in Roden Rust on the East Bank of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up near the Pomeroon River, I’ve developed a profound connection to our natural surroundings, which drives my passion for conservation and wildlife protection. You could often find me wandering through the forests, listening to the sounds of nature, or sharing stories of my adventures with the community.
Guyana is a melting pot of cultures, and I take great pride in our rich heritage. Whether it’s enjoying a hearty bowl of pepperpot on special occasions or a casual cook-up rice by the riverside, the flavors of our homeland always bring back fond memories. I cherish the vibrant community spirit we share here—like when we gather for community events at the local “Pom” or reminisce about the days spent along River Grant, where stories of our ancestors help keep our traditions alive.
