Hello and welcome! My name is Cindy Richards, and I proudly call the Upper Pomeroon River Left Bank in Arapiako, Pomeroon-Supenaam, my home. Growing up in this vibrant region of Guyana, I have developed a deep appreciation for our rich cultural heritage, which is reflected in our traditional foods, music, and the warmth of our community. Whether it's sharing a plate of metemgee and fish or enjoying the lively rhythms of chutney and soca, I cherish the flavors and sounds that connect us all.
As a resident of Guyana, I find immense joy in the natural beauty that surrounds us, from the tranquil rivers to the lush landscapes filled with diverse wildlife. Our country, with its unique history and multicultural society, is a place where I feel rooted.
