Hello! I’m Kayman Lall, a proud carpenter hailing from the vibrant Pomeroon region in Guyana, specifically the Pomeroon-Supenaam area. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich traditions of my homeland, I’ve always been inspired by the beauty of our rivers and the warmth of our communities. From the rhythmic sounds of the Pomeroon River to the flavors of pepperpot and metemgee shared at family gatherings, these experiences have deeply shaped my craft and my life.
As a carpenter, I take pride in creating functional art that reflects the character of Guyana. Each piece I build carries a story, much like the cherished memories we have of places like Myrie Island and Lower Pom River. I often find myself reminiscing with friends and family about our childhood adventures, whether it was fishing at Cockroach Hill or simply enjoying life along the riverbank. These connections to home fuel my passion for woodworking, allowing me to channel the essence of my culture into every project.
