Greetings! I’m Kipp Vansluytman, a proud logger hailing from the serene River Waikinipa in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of beautiful Guyana. As someone who cherishes our unique Guyanese heritage, I often reflect on our diverse backgrounds, including the significant East Indian influence in our culture. I proudly acknowledge my ancestry and the flavorful dishes that come from it. There's nothing quite like a plate of pepperpot or a taste of roti, especially when shared with family and friends. Living in the diaspora, I’ve heard many reminisce about the joys of Guyanese food and the community spirit we carry, even across oceans.
