Greetings! My name is Peter Ragobeer, and I am a proud farmer based in the beautiful Essequibo region of Parika, located on the East Bank of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery of Guyana, I have cultivated a deep respect for the land and its bounty. My days are spent tending to crops that not only nourish our local community but also connect me to our rich agricultural heritage. I take pride in nurturing everything from flavorful cassava to aromatic spices that grace our traditional dishes, including the ever-popular pepper pot.
As an Indo-Guyanese, I carry the legacy of my ancestors who arrived in Guyana under British indenture.
