Hello! My name is Terrence Henry, and I proudly call Pom River Grant Teneze Farm in the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. As a dedicated labourer, I embrace the hard work that keeps our community thriving. I have a deep love for my homeland, from the lush landscapes along the River Waiwaro Creek to the rich cultural tapestry that defines our Guyanese identity.
Having spent time abroad like many of my fellow Guyanese, I understand the unique perspective of our diaspora. It’s always a joy to connect with others who share my passion for our culture, whether reminiscing about enjoying a plate of crab callaloo or cracking jokes about how the Essequibo River “looks like a peanut.” I take pride in my roots and believe that sharing our stories brings us closer together, no matter where we are in the world.
