As a rice farmer, I am deeply rooted in the agricultural traditions that have sustained our communities for generations. The fertile lands of Dunkeld, Pomeroon-Supenaam is where I cultivate my rice, a staple in our local cuisine that brings families together at the dinner table, often accompanied by delicious dishes like curry and dhal. Through my work, I not only contribute to the local economy but also preserve the cherished cultural practices that define our way of life.
Growing up in Guyana, I have always been inspired by the rich diversity of our people and their stories.
